As part of our Combined Studies, Year 2 visited Reading Museum. We experienced what it was like in a Victorian school room and learnt about some of the jobs Victorian children would have carried out.
As part of our Combined Studies, Year 2 walked to and explored Lousehill Copse. We searched for natural materials we could use to create our own art pieces, inspired by the artist Andy Goldsworthy. When we came back to school, we created our art pieces.
Year 2 have been celebrating Black History Month this October. We have participated in an African Drumming Workshop with Ronald, shared a story with Mrs Douse-Moody and learned all about Mary Seacole.
