Year 2 visit to Abu Bakr Mosque
Year 2 were very honoured to visit the mosque on the Oxford Road on Thursday 13th July 2017. We were given the opportunity to ask questions, had a tour around the beautiful mosque and then after lunch and a play in the park, we were able to observe their afternoon prayer. It was a time of calm and togetherness.

Games from around the world
The children of Churchend had a wonderful workshop learning about games from around the world. During this workshop, the instructor used French Skipping ropes to give everyone a chance to actively participate and learn. All staff were involved so why not challenge them to a skip-off.
