Welcome to Year 4
Following the Prime Minister’s announcement (January 4th 2021) that all schools will be closed except for critical worker’s children and vulnerable children, we have prepared remote learning for your child to complete. The Government has established the expectation that schools set work that is of equivalent length to the core teaching pupils would receive in school, and as a minimum 3 hours per day on average. This work has been planned to be well-sequenced to build knowledge and skills and, if completed to the same standard as in school, we estimate should be completed in this time frame.
If you have questions, we encourage parents to communicate with teaching staff using the year group email: firstname.lastname@example.org. However, as we will be teaching in the classroom, we ask that any questions are emailed during the hours of 10am – 12 (noon).
