We have four houses at Churchend Primary Academy, named after some of the famous "B's of Reading": 

Huntley, Palmers, Colliers and Sutton.

Every child is placed into a house when they start at Churchend, and siblings are placed into the same house. Children collect house points by working hard, displaying the Churchend values and making good choices with their behaviour. 

We also hold a number of house events across the year where children can collect House points; these include sports and non-sports events.

The winning House at the end of each half-term receives an extra play-time. The winning House at the end of each term wins a non-uniform day.
