We are a two-form entry primary academy with a nursery, located in Tilehurst, Berkshire, with 60 places in each year group.

Our school ethos embraces the values of aim high, care, positivity, resilience, respect and responsibility, while our learning environment is calm and nurturing. Churchend Primary is an academy where our staff know their children well and support them to flourish.

Whatever a child’s background or starting point, we want to make sure that they finish Year 6 with the academic knowledge and social skills necessary to succeed in their future lives and become the best possible version of themselves.

We want every pupil to develop a lifelong love of learning and be well-prepared for their transition to secondary school. To ensure this, we focus on academic attainment and improvement across a broad and balanced curriculum, embracing the values of our multicultural community. We are proud of our high academic outcomes, as well as the opportunities we offer our pupils to succeed in a range of contexts.
