What a fantastic afternoon! We learnt about some of the traditions of Holi and how it is a celebration of good over evil. We heard of a young cheeky boy called Krishna who would spray water and coloured powder at the milk maids. The children then got to make a colourful mask and ribbon bracelets. We danced to some Bollywood music. Outside we threw beautiful coloured powder in the air and on our clothes and skin. We enjoyed getting one another covered in powder and squirting the children with water. We ended our Holi celebration around the campfire, listening to the pop of the pop corn. We enjoyed eating the warm popcorn around the bonfire in our popcorn holders. Everyone had so much fun and got into the spirit of Holi!
