Fire Engine Visit

We were lucky enough to get a visit from the fire engine to finish off the three emergency services. The firemen told us all about the fire engine and how it stores up to 1800 litres of water and that it has varying hoses to put out fire. We also learnt that not all fires can be put out by water. The talked to us about their uniform and why they have to wear it to keep themselves safe when fighting a fire. 


We also learnt the other jobs that the firemen have which is to rescue animals or people who are stuck in railings, cars or buildings.
