Churchend Breakfast and After School Clubs
Breakfast club is available from 7.45am and costs £4 per day.
Children are provided with a breakfast of toast, cereal or porridge.
Churchend Primary School after School Club runs from 3.15 and closes promptly at 6pm.
The school site is locked at 6pm so children must be collected in good time before the 6pm lock up.
Children also have the option to attend until 4.30 for a reduced rate but this will not include tea.
Weather permitting the children play outside or have a variety of activities inside. These include: arts and crafts, games, construction, creative play, and the opportunity for the children to do their homework and reading. The children have a drink and biscuit when they arrive at 3.15 and have tea around 4.30.
Children can attend other after school clubs and then go on to after school club afterwards.
We aim to provide a safe, secure and relaxed environment in a familiar setting for the children. After school club is open to all children from year R though to year 6. Children attending from Reception, Years 1 and 2 are collected from their classrooms.
All the staff are very experienced working with children. Mr Penson is Day Manager and responsible for the day to day running of after school club. Other members of staff include Mrs Smithurst, Mrs Weaver, Mrs Hunt and Mrs Barnes. Mrs Baines manages all of Wrap-around-care,
