This week we have been learning all about babies, supporting the topic of "Ourselves". During the week, two different babies came to visit! We found out so much information about the babies by asking questions. Baby Oscar is 4 months old and he is a boy. He is nearly sitting up by himself. He just drinks milk. He likes to look at other babies and is able to grip toys. In his changing bag, Oscar's mummy had toys, nappies, wipes and spare clothes.
We then had a visit from Baby Elijah, who is nearly a year old! We noticed lots of differences between Oscar and Elijah. Elijah is a super speedy crawler, and he can stand up! He was balancing all by himself, but not yet walking. He drinks milk and water from a cup, and he also eats food. He was really interested in us, and was copying our claps and waves.
Thank you to Mrs Brock and Danielle for bringing such healthy and happy babies into our classroom! We loved meeting them and discussing Oscar and Elijah, and telling each other about our own baby brothers and sisters.
