Mental Health and Wellbeing

At Churchend Primary Academy, we know that good mental health is just as important as good physical health and want to support our families by promoting good mental health for all.

We have a number of staff who are able to support pupils, families and staff with their mental health:

Mrs Slocombe is the Senior Mental Health Lead (SMHL)

Mrs Baines is a Mental Health First Aider

Mrs Clark and Mrs Smithers are the school SENDCos

Mrs Thompson is the school's Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA)

Staff at Churchend work together to identify the needs of children and to support them and their families. We also work closely with other agencies.

If you are concerned about your child's mental health, please speak to your child's teacher, or speak to one of the above adults.
