We had great fun celebrating World Book Day this week!
We went to Waterstone's Book Shop to spend our book tokens and buy our free specially written book for the day. Some of us chose Peppa Pig, Where's Wally or Aliens in their Underpants stories! We also had a story read to us by Holly at the book shop.
In school we found out about Elmer the patchwork elephant and made our own version of him - colourful on one side and grey on the other! We ate elephant bush berries to make us turn into a herd of elephants and we decorated some cakes to look like elephants from Elmer's jungle.
We also did our turn on the bouncy castle. We bounced as many times as we could for one minute and helped to raise money for the school to buy new books.
What a great week!
We love reading books!
