Churchend After School Club.
Churchend Primary School after School Club runs from 3.15 until 6pm. Children also have the option to attend until 4.30 for a reduced rate but this will not include tea.
Weather permitting the children play outside or have a variety of activities inside. These include: arts and crafts, games, construction, creative play, and the opportunity for the children to do their homework and reading. The children have a drink and snack when they arrive at 3.15 and have tea around 4.30.
Children can attend other after school clubs and then come on to after school club afterwards.
We aim to provide a safe, secure and relaxed environment in a familiar setting for the children. After school club is open to all children from year R though to year 6. Children attending from Reception, Years 1 and 2 are collected from their classrooms.
All the staff are very experienced working with children. Mr Penson is Day Manager and responsible for the day to day running of after school club. Other members of staff include Mrs Smithhurst, Mrs Weaver, Mrs Hunt, Miss Braden and Mrs Barnes. Mrs Baines continues to manage all of Wrap-around-care,
Each term we will ask you to complete a booking form which will run for the term. Please ensure you re-book your child's place as we fill our places on a first come first served basis.
